Love taking pictures of this sweet family every year!
Never a dull moment with this family!! Oak Mountain State Park has a free petting zoo with a giant red barn. What better way to get kids to enjoy getting their picture taken!? Here are a few of my favorites!
Tessa and Logan’s Wedding Tuscaloosa, Alabama Tessa and Logan met while attending the University of Alabama and after graduation they spent 2 years having a long distance relationship. This wedding was very special because they would finally be in the same state together after living hundreds of miles apart. These two are very religous and traditional and opted to not do a first look, but what they did instead was so sweet! They wrote letters to each other and passed them to one another between a door. It was such a sweet moment to be a part of! The Ceremony was held at the second oldest Episcopal Church in Alabama that was built in 1830. It was such a beautiful day to celebrate these two and watch as Tessa and Logan’s family and friends showed so much love all through out the event. Here are some of the highlights from their Big Day!
Caroline and Chase
Jemison Trail/ Downtown Birmingham Engagement Session
These two met as friends in their highschool science class and started dating when they both went to college. They have known each other for almost ten years, so getting married to them is more like icing on the cake. Chase proposed to Caroline in a fall Nashville weekend getaway. They had a romantic dinner Friday night and then Saturday morning Chase asked Caroline what she wanted to do for the day and she said, go to Broadway and see everything that they could. It was Caroline’s first trip to Nashville, so Chase was showing her all of his favorite spots. Then, he told her they were going to meet some friends at a place across a bridge. So they start to go across the bridge and it begins to rain and they didn’t have an umbrella or raincoat. Caroline asks Chase if he really knows where is he going and then midway across the bridge in the rain, Chase stops and asks Caroline to marry him!! Their friends were hiding with cameras to take pictures!! These two enjoy spending their days at the lake, hiking, beach weekends, concerts, traveling, and taking their dog (child) on walks around their neighborhood downtown. For their engagement session, we spent some time at Jemison trail to show their sporty side together and then we downtown to Morris Avenue to finish the session. Here are some of my favorite pictures from this super sweet couples session!! Can’t wait for their fall wedding in Tuscaloosa!

My niece was born in May and I was itching to see her sweet face!! I got a plane ticket to good ole Oklahoma and got to visit my brother, his wife, and the new addition to the Giles Family!! Emma Grace is just darling and the time I had with her went by way to fast. Can’t wait to see how much she has grown when my brother brings her to visit Alabama next month. Here are a few favs from my trip! Note Emma is 8 weeks in these baby pictures. I was so impressed she stayed asleep long enough to get these. 🙂
